報告人簡介：

林延平教授，1982年在東北大學獲得學士學位，1988年美國華盛頓州立大學獲得博士學位。歷任加拿大阿爾伯特大學終身教授，香港理工大學應(yīng)用數(shù)學系教授、副主任，主要研究興趣為偏微分方程和科學計算，擔任Discrete and continuous dynamical Systems, Series B，Dynamics of Continuous, Discrete and Impulsive Systems, Series B，Advances in Numerical Analysis和International Journal of Numerical Analysis and Modeling期刊的副主編或創(chuàng)刊人，在國際計算數(shù)學權(quán)威期刊SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis、SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis等期刊上發(fā)表若干學術(shù)論文。
